CMIO Survey says: Key role in IT purchases

In the CMIO 2010 Top Trends/CMIO Census, we asked:

What role do you perform in the purchasing of IT/infrastructure?

Respondents said they:
  • Recommend IT/infrastructure purchases: 66 percent
  • Specify supplier/vendor: 17 percent
  • Make final purchase decision: 11 percent
  • Have no role in IT/infrastructure purchases: 6 percent
