EATON introduces service for Powerware UPS and battery systems

Eaton Corp. this week introduced its web-based Powerware eNotify Remote Monitoring and Diagnostic Service for Powerware uninterruptible power systems (UPSs) and battery systems.

The eNotify system provides round-the-clock monitoring of the UPS performance as well as the battery condition to prevent load loss from failures, Eaton said. Users are provided with immediate notification of significant events via phone, email or pager, remote troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Additional services include real-time technician support and monthly reports of daily monitoring and trending information, to assist IT and facility managers in making maintenance decisions or planning needed system upgrades and capacity expansion, Eaton said.

The service is available for Powerware three-phase UPSs, while single-phase UPSs will be brought on later this year.
