FDA clears Catheter Connections DualCap

The FDA has granted 510(k) clearance Catheter Connections to market its DualCap product, which nests two disinfecting caps together—for IV access points, the needleless injection site and the male luer at the end of the IV tubing.

The Salt Lake City-based manufacturer said DualCap will be commercially available in the fall.
