Fujifilm releases portable DR upgrade

Fujifilm Medical Systems has released its FDR D-EVO portable upgrade system in the U.S.

The FDR D-EVO portable upgrade system is a DR upgrade option for analog mobile portables, according to the Stamford, Conn.-based imaging technology developer.

The upgrade system allows technologists to preview images at the bedside and can be fitted with any of Fujifilm’s wireless FDR D-EVO models. It includes the FDX Console workstation and incorporates Fujifilm’s Irradiation Side Sampling technology that improves detective quantum efficiency by reducing the distance for light signals to reach the sensor, according to Fujifilm.
