IDX Imagecast for Cardiology gets ACC-NCDR certificate

IDX Systems Corporation this week announced that its IDX Imagecast for Cardiology system has received certification from the American College of Cardiology-National Cardiovascular Data Registry (ACC-NCDR).

The ACC-NCDR(R) reviewed the product and verified that it met their strict data collection standards and export requirements. The organization's CathPCI Registry allows cath labs to benchmark against nearly 600 hospitals and 2.5 million patient records. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the FDA and The Leapfrog Group, among others, consider this registry a gold standard for measuring quality in the cath lab space.
