InfiMed offers image stitching software for DR system

InfiMed Inc. this week released a new stitching software program called StingRay ImageStitch as a complement to their StingRay DR (digital radiography) system.

InfiMed says the new application enables users to combine two 17-inch x 17-inch images together for situations where a larger field of view is needed. This is useful in orthopedic environments where long-leg or scoliosis views are required.

The software includes a measurement package and a toolkit for orthopedic-specific overlays.

The two companies aim to improve patient access to high-quality MRI scans by combining their artificial intelligence capabilities.
