lifeIMAGE, Sorna link up for patient data management

Online diagnostic imaging provider lifeIMAGE has partnered with Eagan, Minn.-based Sorna to utilize Reviewer, a diagnostic image viewer, that provides end-users of lifeIMAGE’s Local Appliance (lila) the ability to manage patient CDs.

Under the terms of agreement, DICOM solutions provider Sorna has acquired Boston-based lifeIMAGE’s cloud-based inbox, to provide an electronic means of transferring diagnostic imaging results to outside healthcare institutions and patients.

The product platform was presented at the annual Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) meeting last week.
