Naviscan
Naviscan (Booth 1118) is displaying its high-resolution organ-specific PET scanner, highlighting its breast application called positron emission mammography (PEM). A biopsy works-in-progress accessory provides the ability to target and guide biopsies of suspicious breast lesions identified with PEM. The accessory is 510(k) pending and not-available-for-sale in the U.S.
Naviscan also is launching its new viewing interface developed in collaboration with MiMvista. Key features include the ability to swim through a series of tomographic images, locate the “hottest” slice, and measure background to lesion ratio.
