Philips Healthcare
Philips Healthcare (Booth 7713) is demonstrating solutions in three customer segments in general x-ray. For high-end DR and fluoroscopy, Philips offers fully integrated solutions based on the Eleva which combines static and dynamic applications from CR, DR and RF and supports flexible patient management, such as the combination of DR and RF exams in one single study.
Philips also is highlighting its FDA-pending wireless flat-panel detector to provide instant image display on Eleva workspots. Cable free, it can be handled and positioned like a cassette. This detector has been designed for Philips’ digital X-ray portfolio and would initially be integrated into the Practix Convenio DR portable X-ray system on remote wards, ICU, ER or OR.
Philips also is highlighting its Unique image processing, which enhances visualization of subtle image details. Radiologists benefit from “harmonized contrast” by providing good detail visibility in all areas, regardless of brightness/darkness. UNIQUE is available on all Philips CR, DR systems and combinations of CR/DR modalities, such as on the digital mammography solution.
The company is displaying a comprehensive DRF (digital radiography and fluoroscopy) room solution with two digital detectors, one in the vertical stand and one in the table of the EasyDiagnost Eleva, thus combining high-quality digital radiography and fluoroscopy. This provides the flexibility to optimize room utilization. It allows allows filmless and cassette-less workflow for high throughput and only one room is needed for all patients—from infants to obese adults. Philips will show the solution with the updated Eleva user interface for full digital integration of CR and DR.
