RSNA attendance reaches almost 60,000

The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) reported strong attendance for this year's show. Total professional registration, including professional, student and press, at the meeting's closing increased 4 percent to 26,401 compared with 25,468 in 2003.

Guest registration decreased this year about 2 percent to 5,772 in 2004, compared with 5,873 in 2003.

Total exhibitor registration at the show tallied around the same as last year, with exhibitor numbers reaching 27,722 in 2004, compared with 27,620 in 2003.

All in all at the meeting's close, RSNA reported the total number of attendees to be 59,895 in 2004, compared with 58,962 in 2003 and 59,205 in 2002.
