SonoSite appoints Marcus Smith to CFO, Mike Schuh retires

Ultrasound developer SonoSite has named Marcus Smith as its new chief financial officer and senior vice president, following the retirement of Mike Schuh.

The Bothell, Wash.-headquartered company said that Smith joined in 2007 as vice president of corporate strategy and growth planning and later served as its vice president and general manager of cardiovascular disease management.

Prior to his appointment at SonoSite, Smith was the senior director of strategy and business development at Philips Medical Systems (now Philips Healthcare).
