Terason

Terason (Booth 1002) is showcasing its recently released laptop ultrasound system, Impact 2008. Image quality is enriched through new algorithms, lateral resolution, Advanced Harmonic Imaging (AHI) and OmniVision and increased lateral resolution is achieved without decreasing the frame rate, the company says. Terason’s advanced harmonic imaging algorithm is further optimized for the 5C2 and 4V2 transducers, reducing artifacts and improving contrast resolution.

Impact 2008, which expands the company’s cardiac and vascular measurements and reporting to other general imaging applications such as phlebology, vascular access and OB/GYN, also is available for currently installed platforms. Terason’s ultrasound technology is coupled with Apple’s MacBook Pro laptop computer and Windows Operating System for ease-of-use.
