Varian delivers 2,000th Eclipse radiotherapy treatment planning system

Varian Medical Systems Inc. will deploy its Eclipse radiotherapy treatment planning system at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center of Nashville, Tenn. - marking the Eclipse's 2000th installation.

Varian's Eclipse program was introduced in September 2001. Eclipse is a powerful 3D treatment planning and virtual simulation software package designed to significantly speed up treatment planning by automating many time-consuming functions, says Varian.
