Bracco teams with Datalliance for vendor managed inventory program

Bracco Diagnostics has selected Datalliance VMI as the platform for its vendor managed inventory (VMI) program.

As a first step, Bracco has already used the Cincinnati-based company to implement a VMI process between their two internal distribution centers in Memphis, Tenn., and Reno, Nev.

"Using VMI, we're better positioned to work collaboratively with hospitals, doctors, and other healthcare professionals," said Kimberly Cox, Bracco Diagnostics, director of supply chain operations.

With headquarters and research offices in Princeton, N.J., Bracco is the U.S.-based subsidiary of Milan, Italy-based Bracco Imaging and is the supplier of clinical agents for use in x-ray/CT, nuclear medicine and MRI.
