Carestream Molecular Imaging has introduced a new Multimodal Animal Rotation System (MARS) as an accessory to its in vivo small animal molecular imaging platform.

MARS is designed to image small animals with 360 degree coverage and rotates a mouse to the desired angle or angles to capture relevant molecular and anatomical information, said Carestream.

The Woodbridge, Conn.-based Carestream Molecular Imaging added that MARS rotation software enables automatic co-registration and visualization of multimodal and multispectral datasets from all acquired angles.
