CTI announces settlement of litigation with GE

CTI Molecular Imaging Inc. this week settled two of its civil litigation cases involving CTI Molecular Imaging, its PETNET Solutions radiopharmaceuticals unit, certain employees of CTI Molecular Imaging, and the General Electric Company.

GE initiated litigation against the company to halt the potential disclosure or use of GE confidential information known to certain former employees now employed by CTI and/or PETNET. The parties worked together to insure that sufficient safeguards are in place to prevent potential disclosure of GE confidential information and further disputes.

The parties have resolved the litigation. CTI Molecular Imaging says it incurred no charges in connection with the settlement.
