IBA supplies new proton therapy center in Poland

Ion Beam Applications (IBA) is supplying a cyclotron along with the essential technological equipments to the Henryk Niewodniczanski Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Science for the construction of the Bronowice Cyclotron Center (CCB - Centrum Cyklotronowe Bronowice) in Krakow, Poland.

The proton therapy center will be composed of one clinical treatment room (fixed beam) and one research room and constitutes the first stage of the development of the Polish National Centre for Hadron Radiotherapy, according to the Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium-based IBA.
