Initiate releases data governance with master data service v9.0

Initiate Systems has introduced Initiate Master Data Service v9.0, an upgrade to its data management application.

The new version of Initiate Master Data Service fosters data governance for enterprise, government and healthcare customers, the Chicago-based company said. Data stewards can identify and centrally manage business data issues to their business processes in one tool.

Initiate Master Data Service v9.0 also includes these new capabilities:
  • The enterprise service-oriented architecture (SOA) toolkit allows customers to integrate Initiate technology into their SOA and create Web services for data models and industry standards.
  • With cross-enterprise document sharing, an expansion of its enterprise master person index capabilities, customers can view a single registry of records and documents related to an individual from access point in an information system.
  • The accuracy workbook helps customers make decisions about implementations and upgrades by providing non-technical users with a visual representation of the benefits of increasing data quality.
