Mirada Medical appoints new non-exec chairman

Mirada Medical has appointed Karsten Damgaard-Iversen as non-executive chairman.

Damgaard-Iversen has more than 30 years global experience of working within the imaging industry and also has been a direct contributor to the development of laser-based and x-ray-based medical products, according to the Oxford, England-based oncology imaging company.

In addition to his role as chairman at Mirada, he is the founder and director of Disease Control Innovations Medical, a Dutch company engaged in production and European business development of new medical technology, said Mirada.
