MIS expands nuc lab network through Cardinal pickups

Molecular Imaging Services (MIS) has expanded its nuclear imaging lab network through the recent acquisition of imaging lab practices from Cardinal Health.

The Newark, N.J.-based MIS and its affiliated network of nuclear imaging labs use CardiacQA, a Web-based software used by outpatient nuclear cardiology and echocardiography labs, to manage patient information, accreditation and practice compliance.

The Dublin, Ohio-based Cardinal Health, which operates nearly 160 radiopharmacies and 30 cyclotron-based PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in the U.S., will continue to distribute radiopharmaceuticals to nuclear imaging labs operated by MIS.
