NCI grants $2.3M for preclinical PET research

ImaginAb has been awarded $2.3 million in funding from the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program to help further develop diagnostic imaging agents for PET.

David Ho, MD, ImaginAb's head of preclinical development will be the principal investigator in collaboration with David Colcher, PhD, at the City of Hope, a NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte, Calif. The Los Angeles-based ImaginAb said it will use the NCI funding over the next two years to accelerate its clinical program.
