Roche, ACC develop web-based clinical resource on biomarkers

Roche Diagnostics and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) have begun a collaboration to develop a peer-reviewed biomarkers clinical resource web portal.

Initially, the collaborative resource will include collections of case studies by leading experts and peer-reviewed journal articles. Future plans include the development of forums where practicing physicians can interface with experts in the field and gain knowledge that is immediately transferable into clinical practice, said Roche Diagnostics, which is based in Indianapolis.

Support from Roche will help provide the resources for the ACC to create this educational program, which will be accessed through www.CardioSource.com, the ACC online clinical cardiovascular information resource, added the company.
