Siemens debuts new equipment service program

Siemens Healthcare has launched the Guardian Program for its molecular imaging systems, which can monitor customer systems’ performance online.

In case of any critical parameters, the system informs the Siemens Service Center. The company also offers “TubeGuard” for its Biograph mCT, which is an option of the Guardian Program that can predict the majority of all potential CT tube failures.

The extension of the Guardian Program allows online monitoring for the Biograph mCT, Biograph TruePoint, Symbia S and Symbia T product lines, added Siemens. More than 10 sensors proactively monitor the tube functions via data flow with Siemens Remote Service.
