SNMMI 2018 names outstanding contributors in nuclear medicine, molecular imaging

The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) released its list of members recognized for outstanding dedication to and service in the fields of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.

The list of honored individuals was originally announced during the 2018 SNMMI annual meeting in Philadelphia in June, according to an Aug. 13 SNMMI news release.  

Awards were given to professionals in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging who have helped advance the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, cancer, neurological conditions, contributed to the advancement of women in medical imaging contributed to the advancement of women in medical imaging, radiopharmaceutical sciences and pediatric imaging, as well as those who have shown continual dedication to SNMMI.
