CMS to host webinar series on bundled payment initiatives

The Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services (CMS) will host a series of webinars dedicated to helping healthcare organizations understand bundled payment programs as part of its accelerated development learning session series.

The webinar series was developed by the American Institutes for Research, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization, to help business, government and healthcare professionals deepen their knowledge of how to redesign healthcare delivery models while participating in a bundled payment program, according to the CMS Innovation Center’s website.

The first webinar was held on Jan. 18 and focused on building an action plan for coordinating and managing care for either private- or public-sector patient populations within a bundled payment program.

Information about future webinars can be found here, along with CMS’ bundled payment readiness self-assessment tool and addition learning resources.
