Confirma rolls out breast MRI system at four CDI sites

Confirma Inc. will be the exclusive provider of CAD (computer-aided detection) technology for breast MRI for the Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI).

CDI is a national radiology practice with 28 centers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Washington and Florida. The agreement includes an immediate sale and installation of four Confirma CADstream systems with the option to buy additional systems as CDI expands.

CADstream improves the efficiency of breast MRI studies by automating data analysis. CADstream's automated features include image registration, subtractions, angiogenesis maps, interactive real-time contrast curves, multiplanar reformatting, maximum intensity projections (MIPs) and volume summaries.
