HHS is on the look out for IT advisors
The Department of Health and Human Services (HSS) has made a call for nominations for its new American Health Information Community. The community will be comprised of 17 voting members and will be chaired by HHS Secretary Michael Leavitt. The nominations must be submitted by August 5th.
Members will be broken down in two groups including nine from state or federal agencies and eight from the private sector, representing interests from consumer/privacy areas, hospitals and other healthcare facilities, purchasers, payers, physicians, nurses, ancillary providers and vendors.
