Sectra signs $20.4M contract with university health network
Sectra announced a $20.4 million contract to provide a university health network in the U.S. with cloud enterprise imaging services. According to a statement, the unnamed health system operates more than 10 hospitals and performs more than 2 million imaging exams each year.
The contract has a six year term with option to renew.
The company said the transitioning to Sectra One Cloud will enhance security for the health network, and improve radiology processes by streamlining diagnostic image review and moving storage to a single platform.
Adoption of the cloud is expected to allow the health network to perform more imaging exams in the coming years, ultimately reducing wait times and improving patient outcomes.
Sectra earned coverage last month when Saarland University adopted its education portal. The company also earned its 11th consecutive Best in KLAS recognition in 2024 for its PACS and enterprise imaging platforms.
