CMS notches three IMRT installs

Radiation therapy device developer CMS, an Elekta company, has placed three of its Monaco intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) systems at facilities in the United States and the Netherlands.

Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee have all begun producing treatment plans with the Monaco systems, according to the St. Louis-based CMS.
