Kansas City Cancer Center installs Hi-Art system
Kansas City Cancer Center has begun treating patients with TomoTherapy’s Hi-Art system, which integrates image guidance and helical radiation therapy delivery.
The Madison, Wis.-based TomoTherapy said its Hi-Art system has been installed at KCCC’s new Shawnee Mission location, one of 11 KCCC facilities. KCCC is a member of the US Oncology network, which treats more than 650,000 patients a year, or approximately 15 percent of all cancer patients in the United States, according to TomoTherapy.
