Elekta names new North American CEO

James Hoey has been named CEO of Elekta Holdings with responsibility for all of Elekta’s North American legal entities.

He is replacing Joseph Jachinowski who left the company for an external position.

Hoey co-founded Impac Medical Systems which was acquired by the Stockholm, Sweden-based Elekta in 2005. He has been with the company for 20 years and is a current member of Elekta’s executive committee, as well as head of Elekta’s software business, according to the company.
