ASTRO: Acceletronics introduces new IGRT system
Acceletronics is introducing the new Theraview KV Imaging image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) system for radiation oncology facilities at the 51st Annual Meeting of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO).
The Exton, Pa.-based company said its Theraview system is an IGRT system that can be mounted to any brand of linear accelerator: Varian Medical Systems, Elekta or Siemens Healthcare. The Theraview KV IGRT system is offered in single-head and dual-head configurations and supplements the Theraview MV IGRT system (marketed as an electronic portal imaging device).
The new system is manfactured by Cablon Medical in the U.S., and distributed by Acceletronics and Acceletronics Digital Imaging.
