Elekta unveils Monaco treatment planning system

Elekta has launched Monaco treatment planning system, version 2.03, designed to enhance planning for Elekta volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT).

Monaco provides features that aid clinicians in planning around structures for Elekta VMAT delivery to predict the dose the patient will receive, according to Stockholm-headquartered company.

In advance of the full launch of Monaco 2.03, Elekta said that sites in Asia, Central America, Europe and the U.S. have implemented the planning system for Elekta VMAT delivery.
