RSNA: Sectra to launch tomosynthesis support in PACS

Sectra (Booth 9117) is unveiling PACS support for breast tomosynthesis images at the 97th Annual Meeting & Scientific Assembly of the RSNA, Nov. 27 to Dec. 2 in Chicago.

The Linkoping, Sweden-based company is showcasing support for the display and review of tomosynthesis images in Sectra Breast Imaging PACS. The capability eliminates the need for a dedicated modality workstation to read tomosynthesis images, allowing mammography clinics to include reading of tomosynthesis images in the regular reading workflow.

Sectra Breast Imaging PACS provides multi-modality capabilities and aligns and displays breast images side-by-side in the same size and dimension, Sectra said.
