IDX promotes Galin to president of UK subsidiary

IDX Systems Corp. has promoted Robert Galin to the post of president of IDX United Kingdom Ltd. Galin has been serving as senior vice president of the subsidiary. IDX opened its London office in 1999. Galin joined IDX in 1982 as director of sales. He has served as vice president of sales since 1992 and was promoted to senior vice president three years ago.

 IDX also promoted to Paul Martin to vice president of operations at IDX U.K. and named Nick Beard, M.D., as chief medical officer. Martin has served as director of operations in London for the last three years. Beard has been with IDX for seven years, most recently serving as vice president of healthcare informatics.
