Smith & Nephew names endoscopy business president

Smith & Nephew names Jim Taylor as president of endoscopy business. Taylor succeeds Ron Sparks, who left the company in early September to become president and CEO of UTI Corp. in Philadelphia. Taylor has been with Smith & Nephew since 2000 as a group director, responsible for 25 country markets in orthopedics, endoscopy and wound management businesses. He will operate out of from Smith & Nephew's office in Andover, Mass.
