Diagnostic screening programs help catch cancer, abnormalities or other diseases before they reach an advanced stage, saving lives and healthcare costs. Screening programs include, lung, breast, prostate, and cervical cancer, among many others.

Their study looked at 1,200 women who were vaccinated and received breast imaging exams, and they found several cancers, so their conclusion is not to wait for breast imaging after receiving a COVID vaccine or booster.
