AAPM: Siemens debuts radiation therapy planning solution

Siemens Healthcare is debuting its IM-RealART solution at the 51st annual meeting of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) in Anaheim, Calif., July 26-30.

IM-RealART is a radiation therapy solution that delivers plans that can be produced in approximately 10 minutes or less, and does not require patient re-positioning or re-planning processes, according to the company. IM-RealART is designed for replanning within image-guided radiation therapy, combining Siemens CTVision system with the Prowess RealART treatment planning system, offering diagnostic-quality, in-room imaging.
