Carestream scores NIH PACS deal

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has issued Carestream Health its sole source PACS service agreement.

Carestream PACS will be implemented into NIH’s 27 institutes and centers and will offer each site a unified user interface, patient worklist, registration of volumetric exams and centralized storage and viewing of non-DICOM and DICOM data, said the Rochester, N.Y.- based company.
