Elekta names Powell new executive VP of software division

Clinical oncology and neurosurgery solutions provider Elekta has named Todd Powell as the executive vice president of Elekta Software, effective May 1.

Powell is replacing James P. Hoey, now executive vice president for Elekta’s North American operations. Prior to this appointment, in which he has served as acting executive vice president of Elekta Software since December 2009, Powell has held the position of senior vice president of software systems and several other senior management roles since his employment began with the Stockholm-based Elekta 18 years ago, said the company.
