Grumman nets $34M CMS' data repository project
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has selected Northrop Grumman to develop a National Level Repository for EHR incentive payment processing transactions to healthcare professionals, agencies and institutions.
The Health IT for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act’s National Level Repository task order was awarded under the Enterprise System Development indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, according to Northrop Grumman, of Reston, Va.
Under the contract, Grumman said it will develop, implement and maintain the data repository that supports the administration and incentive payment disbursements of Medicare and Medicaid programs to medical professionals, hospitals and other organizations.
The task order is valued at approximately $34 million over one year with five and one-half year option periods.
