Researchers at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., are working an imaging technology that combines atomic force microscopy and nuclear MR to simultaneously study the mechanical and biochemical behavior of cells. The technique could increase understanding of diseases processes and the formation of cancerous tumors, according to the study team.
