New tumor illuminator in the works

Texas researchers are developing a way to turn the diffusion properties of LED lighting against tumors.   

“We’re using an unusually sensitive detector that hasn’t been applied to this sort of work before,” Rice University chemist Bruce Weisman, PhD, told the British publication The Engineer. “This has potential applications in medical diagnosis.”
