Philips expands plans for rad onc segment

Philips Healthcare is planning to expand its radiation oncology business unit in the Madison, Wisconsin area by July 2011.

The expansion project will double its cancer care technology engineering staff by 2011, and triple its workforce by July 2012. Philips said it is now accepting applications for candidates who would work on the development and enhancement of its radiation treatment planning systems and related software.
