Thailand hospital selects IntraOps radiotherapy system

Radiotherapy technology provider IntraOp has been selected by the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital of Mahidol University in Bangkok for its intra-operative electron radiation therapy system, the Mobetron.

According to the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company, the technology will be utilized for the hospital’s breast cancer patients, as well as for patients with advanced and recurrent cancers, including recurrent head and neck cancer, pancreatic cancer, recurrent rectal cancer, extremity and retroperitoneal sarcomas and pediatric cancers.
